Today I took a large step for me (and LoJo Photography) – I entered the ACT AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) Awards for the very first time. I have uploaded the digital versions of my images and will now submit my prints.

I have entered 3 images into the Family Section of the awards – 1 in the newborn sub-section and 2 in the family-group sub-section.

Prior to submitting my images I attended a critique night run by the ACT division of the AIPP.  At this critique night I learnt so much from the feedback I received from the other photographers who also attended and I am thankful for their input.

I am also so grateful to my clients who allow me access to their family to create these images and then give me their permission to share their images and submit them for awards – I couldn’t do this without you.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you and showing you my images once the Awards have been completed.
