Maternity portrait sessions are undertaken any time after 30 weeks (best time is between 34 – 36 weeks). \u00a0Sessions take approximately 1 hour to complete.<\/p>\n

You can book a maternity portrait session on its own or in conjunction with a newborn portrait session. \u00a0Booking both sessions together saves you $100 on your session fee.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Location<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maternity sessions can be held in a studio environment or on location around Canberra and Queanbeyan.\u00a0On location maternity sessions will focus on natural surroundings. Your session can make use of natural light, the baby\u2019s nursery or an outdoor location.<\/p>\n

Clothing<\/strong><\/p>\n

LoJo Photography has a number of different clothing props for maternity sessions including tutus, tops and free-flowing dresses.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you wish to have photos taken of your bare belly please do not wear anything with elastic on your belly for a few hours before your session. In fact, if possible, try to not wear anything that could leave marks on your skin (e.g. tight socks, watches etc).<\/p>\n

If you want to bring your own outfits to your session you are most welcome to do so. \u00a0You can bring more than one outfit to your maternity session. I would recommend something that fits you snugly to show off your shape, a button down shirt with a tight fitting t-shirt or a flattering dress.<\/p>\n
