It is usually done for a baby&#8217;s first birthday (although I must admit I have seen it done for adult birthdays as well).<\/p>\n<p>It is a portrait session which involves your child, a cake and a lot of fun.<\/p>\n<p>I like to start with a &#8220;clean&#8221; session &#8211; getting photos of your child pre-cake and you, if you wish, and then we introduce the cake.\u00a0 The object of a cake smash is for your little one to have fun.\u00a0 They can destroy the cake, smear icing all over themselves and make a mess.\u00a0 The aim is to capture the joy in your child during this session.<\/p>\n<p>Each session can be styled to your child&#8217;s favourite colours.
